Training Courses

Our services

The purpose of our training courses (by American Heart Association – AHA).

Recent data shows us that less than 40% of adults receive CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) from a non specialist rescuer and less than 12% use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Advanced emergency aid is activated after a call to the emergency numbers and the arrival of health personnel to the site of the accident takes about 20 minutes. In case of unexpected cardiac arrest in a non hospital location, the intervention of the non-specialist citizen takes place in the first 20 minutes from the recognition of cardiac arrest and the call to emergency numbers, and it starts with cardio-pulmonary resuscitation maneuvers to bring oxygen into the body, especially to the brain.

BLS

The goal of the BLS course (acronym for Basic Life Support) is to address first aid maneuvers (heart massage and ventilation) to those who are affected by unexpected cardiac arrest or by disorders of the heart rhythms, such as ventricular fibrillation or ventricular tachycardia.

The course includes BLS training to intervene on adults, children and infants emergencies.

The course includes training for foreign body airway obstructions for adults, children and infants. The technique for foreign body clearing is the correct use of the Heimlich maneuver.

BLS-D

The BLS-D course (acronym for Basic Life Support and Defibrillation) also provides the learning of the basics for the use of semi-automatic external defibrillators (AEDs), now widespread in many public places (in particular, in large cities) and inside gyms, swimming pools, schools, sports fields, clubs, stations, airports, etc.

The essential information is provided for the implementation of first aid and defibrillation maneuvers on adults, children and infants.

The course also includes training for foreign body airway obstructions for adults, children and infants. The technique for foreign body clearing is the correct use of the Heimlich maneuver.

USE OF OXYGEN IN UNDERWATER FIRST AID AND BATHING ASSISTANTS

This course is aimed at all those who in various capacities can be called upon for assistance and practical and logistical support in the administration of therapeutic oxygen: you will learn the techniques to best deal with the various scenarios in underwater emergencies and in drowning.
